Chi-Yu Evolution, Stats, Location: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

In the new Pokémon games, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet one of the quests players can complete is the Four Treasures of Ruin. This will task players to unlock four shrines by collecting eight colored stakes for each shrine. These ominous glowing stakes are scatted across the Paldea region. Finding them all will allow players to open the shrine and try to catch one of four legendary Pokemon. One of these Pokémon is Chi-Yu.

Chi-Yu Evolution: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The four legendaries that are found in the Four Treasures of Ruin have no evolution lines. So that means Chi-Yu cannot evolve from or to any additional Pokémon at least for now. Chi-Yu is a Dark and Fire-type Pokémon. When trying to catch it be careful when using effective moves that are Bug, Fairy, Fighting, Ground, Rock, and Water-types that can make it faint.

Chi-Yu Location: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

After finding all eight blue stakes players will gain access to the Firescourge Shrine. The shrine can be found in the cave on top of a waterfall in the northeast section of North Province Area Two. Having all of your Koraidon or Miraidon's traversal abilities will make navigating up much easier.

With these new Pokémon games having a nonlinear story, players are free to tackle any challenge or explore at their own pace. So if they find that they cannot search for all the stakes or find the shrines they can always come back to it at a later point in their adventure.
