Fortnite Chapter 5 Leaks Reveal Racing Mode and Wall Running

Fortnite Chapter 5 leaks are starting to give players a sense of the next chapter of Epic Games' Battle Royale, including wall running and a Racing Mode similar to Mario Kart.

After the success of Fortnite Creative 2.0, there have been rumors speculating what Fortnite's next mode could be in the highly anticipated Chapter 5. Some of the most popular UEFN maps step away from typical Fortnite gameplay and instead bring aspects of other games to Fortnite, like Rocket League and GTA.

Now, new leaks reveal that Epic Games could be taking the success of certain maps to a whole new level in Fortnite Chapter 5.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Leaks Reveal Racing Mode

Fortnite Chapter 5 leaks suggest a Racing Mode is coming to Fortnite at the end of 2023. Although there has been no confirmation from Epic Games, Fortnite leakers iFireMonkey and NotJulesDev have provided a full scope of the mode.

The mode will require players to compete in car races across four available modes:

• Death Race
• Easy Rider
• Casual
• Competitive

There will allegedly be a garage where players can customize their vehicle's appearance and build to give them the best success on the track. The Racing Mode will have its own Battle Pass with rewards, XP, and possibly new unlockable cars.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Leaks Reveal Wall Running

Another Fortnite Chapter 5 leak from NotJulesDev claims a new wall running mechanic will be available in the Battle Royale. Mantling and sliding already upgraded the movement in Fortnite, and now, players might be able to scale walls.

The movement would certainly help in Zero Build, especially with the difficult jungle biome added in Fortnite WILDS. Plus, the ability to wall run would allow the developers to design a new map for Fortnite Chapter 5 that could feature terrain and structures we have never seen before in Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Release Date

Fortnite Chapter 5 will be released in November 2023. We will not know the official release date or if these leaks will truly come to fruition until Epic Games confirms their plans for the next Fortnite chapter.

The Racing Mode reveal would be the perfect excuse for Epic Games to host a Fortnite live event for the first time in over a year.
