Great Tusk is one of the many new species of Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Great Tusk is part of the new group of Pokémon known as the Paradox Pokémon. Paradox Pokémon can be caught after completing the main storyline. With Pokémon going full open-world it can quickly be overwhelming trying to keep track of everything there is to do and catch. Great Tusk Evolution: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Every Paradox Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet do not have evolutionary forms. These Pokémon are however some of the rarest in the game you can encounter in the new games. Great Tusk is one of the Pokémon referenced in the Scarlet Book. It looks similar to the generation two Pokémon Donphan.

Being a rare Paradox Pokémon, the base stats for Great Tusk will be pretty high.

Great Tusk is a Ground and Fighting-type Pokémon. It also has a special ability called Protosynthesis in which harsh sunlight or a held Booster Energy can increase its stats. Great Tusk's highest stat is boosted by 30 percent. If Speed is it highest stat it will then be boosted by 50 percent.

Great Tusk Location: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Great Tusk is exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet version. It can be found in the Great Crater of Paldea in Area Zero. Players must first defeat the five Titan bosses in the game's story mode. With a 30 percent catch-rate players should properly prepare themselves for a long encounter.
