Pokémon GO Sustainability Week All Event Bonuses Listed

Pokémon GO is kicking off Sustainability Week and players will be able to enjoy a number of bonuses throughout the event. Here's what you need to know.

April is drawing to a close, but players still have a week-long event to take part in and enjoy in Pokémon GO — Sustainability Week. The event runs from Thursday, April 20, 2023 up until Wednesday, April 26, 2023 and, throughout the week, players will be able to take advantage of a number of bonuses and encounters.

One Pokémon will be making its Pokémon GO debut: Bounsweet, the Fruit Pokémon. 

Bounsweet can evolve into Steenee with 25 Bounsweet Candy. Steenee, in turn, can evolve into Tsareena with 100 Bounsweet Candy.

In addition to more Pokémon, some Sustainability Week-themed Timed Research will be available throughout the event. Completing the tasks will earn players items, encounters and more. Three new avatar items will also be available to purchase during the event:

• Bounsweet Hat
• Steenee Shirt
• Tsareena Boots

A number of event bonuses will be available for players to take advantage of, here's what you need to know.

Pokémon GO Sustainability Week All Event Bonuses Listed

The following event bonuses will be available for players in Pokémon GO throughout Sustainability Week:

• If your Buddy Pokémon is an Ultra Buddy or higher, it will bring you souvenirs more frequently.
• Your Buddy Pokémon will accompany you on the map longer after being fed.
• If your Buddy Pokémon is a Great Buddy or higher, it will bring you leaf-wrapped gifts more frequently. These gifts will contain Berries more often, and they may even contain a Silver Pinap Berry.
• 1/2 distance to earn hearts with your Buddy Pokémon.

Pokémon GO Sustainability Week begins Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 10 a.m. local time. The event will end on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 8 p.m. local time.
