Pokémon GO Sustainability Week All Wild Encounters

Pokémon GO is kicking off Sustainability Week and a number of Pokémon will be apearing more frequently in the wild. Here's what you need to know.

April is drawing to a close, but players still have a week-long event to take part in and enjoy in Pokémon GO — Sustainability Week. The event runs from Thursday, April 20, 2023 up until Wednesday, April 26, 2023 and, throughout the week, players will be able to take advantage of a number of bonuses and encounters.

One Pokémon will be making its Pokémon GO debut: Bounsweet, the Fruit Pokémon. 

Bounsweet can evolve into Steenee with 25 Bounsweet Candy. Steenee, in turn, can evolve into Tsareena with 100 Bounsweet Candy.

In addition to more Pokémon, some Sustainability Week-themed Timed Research will be available throughout the event. Completing the tasks will earn players items, encounters and more. Three new avatar items will also be available to purchase during the event:

• Bounsweet Hat
• Steenee Shirt
• Tsareena Boots

But for those looking to pad out their Pokédex, a number of Pokémon will be encountered more frequently in the wild during Sustainability Week.

Players will be seeing a lot more of the following Pokémon during Pokémon GO's Sustainability Week:

• Squirtle*
• Shellder*
• Wailmer*
• Drilbur*
• Cottonee*
• Petilil
• Dwebble*
• Foongus
• Froakie

Lucky trainers may even encounter the following:

• Larvitar*
• Binacle*
• Bounsweet

Pokémon GO Sustainability Week begins Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 10 a.m. local time. The event will end on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 8 p.m. local time.
