Pokémon Scarlet and Violet December 2022 Events

The second Tera Raid Battle event will arrive this December in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Tera Raid Battles are large-scale events where players can team up to take down players a specific Pokémon who utilizes certain Tera Types. This December's Tera Raid event will also be the first Black Crystal Raid and features one of the most iconic Pokémon in the series.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet December 2022 Events
The first Black Crystal Tera Raid will be considered a seven-star raid. Knowing this players should expect the event to be a challenge. From 7 p.m ET on Dec. 1 to 7 p.m. Dec. 4 players can attempt to complete the Charizard Tera Raid. If players miss out on the first weekend they can try again later in month from Dec. 15 to Dec. 18.
Charizard is arguably the most recognizable Pokémon outside of Pikachu. It is considered a rare Pokémon in the Paldea region so players who want it will have the perfect opportunity during the December event.
During the Tera Raid Charizard will be equipped with the Dragon-type Tera crystal so should trainers be prepared to deal with powerful Dragon-type moves. Players will need to complete certain post-game events in order to partiipate in the Tera Raids. After beating the main storylines, players are expected to be ready for the tougher challenges ahead. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required for the events since it involves playing with other players online.
A year of Nintendo Switch Online starts at $20 a year which many Switch owners will already have especially if they enjoy playing other fun games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Splatoon 3 online with friends.
