Veluza Evolution, Stats, Location: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Veluza is among the ninth generation of Water-types. While exploring the Paldea region, the game’s open world mechanic allows trainers to search in every body of water for new Pokémon. Known for its unique dual-typing and resemblance to Arrokuda, here is a breakdown of the Jettison Pokémon, Veluza.

Unfortunately, there are no known evolutions for Veluza. On the upside, Veluza’s Water and Psychic-typing makes it still a worthwhile addition to any team. Vulnerable to Grass, Electric, Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type moves, Veluza is resistant to Fire, Water, Ice, Fighting, Psychic, and Steel-type moves.

As a Pokémon who does not evolve, Veluza base stats are relatively higher compared to other evolving Pokémon: 90 HP, 102 ATK, 73 DEF, 78 SP. ATK, 65 SP. DEF, and 70 SPD. 

Veluza’s Mold Breaker ability is extremely useful in battle, allowing a user’s moves to ignore an opponent's abilities when inflicting damage. Additionally, with its Hidden Ability, Sharpness, the Pokémon's Slicing moves are more powerful.

Veluza is found in the various bodies of water throughout the Paldea region. This includes the North Paldean Sea, West Paldean Sea, Casseroya Lake, West Province (Area One) coast, West Province (Area Two) coast and river, West Province (Area Three) rivers, Asado Desert coast, and the Porto Marinada coast.
