When Does Fortnite Patch 25.20 Go Live?

After weeks without major in-game changes, Fortnite patch 25.20 is finally on its way.

Despite an exciting launch back in June, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has struggled to live up to the success of Fortnite MEGA. The new jungle biome is frustrating to navigate in Zero Build, and the medieval biome remains an underutilized portion of the map. The core of the season's issues, though, start and end with the lack of a mobility item.

In the past, Epic Games has provided inventive crossovers and in-game events to improve a lackluster season, but Fortnite WILDS has had very little going on in the past month. Fortunately, patch 25.20 is set to go live with some exciting updates.

When Does Fortnite Patch 25.20 Go Live?

Fortnite patch 25.20 goes live on Wednesday, July 26. The update was supposed to be live a day earlier, but Epic Games pushed back the release. The delay could be tied to the recent announcement of the Futurama collaboration coming to the Battle Royale in the same patch.

The update is also rumored to feature new Reality Augments and the August Crew Pack. Although Epic Games has not confirmed any weapon changes, reliable Fortnite leaker, ShiinaBR, also suggests the Lever Pistol and Kinetic Boomerang will be in the game come July 26.

Players can expect the downtime for update v25.20 to last for a few hours before the patch goes live around 5 a.m. ET. on July 26.
