Wo-Chien Evolution, Stats, Location: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
By Aaron McIntire
In the new games Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players can find four legendary Pokémon by collecting colored ominous stakes. There are eight for each of the four hidden legendaries making for a total of 32 to find across the Paldea region. Once all eight of one color are fully completed players can open up a shrine to catch the new legendary. With all eight purple stakes, players can open the Grasswither Shrine to obtain Wo-Chien.

The are three other legendary Pokémon that can be unlocked by opening Shrines. One of the biggest changes added to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is its nonlinear gameplay. So whether players want to tackle all the Gym leaders or search out legendaries like Wo-Chien is entirely up to them. When searching across Paldea for all the ominous stakes it is recommended that players have all the traversal abilities unlocked for Koraidon or Miraidon. That way they are capable of reaching any location in the game.
