Just in time for the New Year's 2023 festivities, Battlestate Games has announced its latest Twitch Drops event for Escape from Tarkov.

Coupled with the 0.13.0.0 patch and its accompanying wipe, as well as its New Year's 2023 sale, Escape from Tarkov appears primed to make some major noise in the coming days. As such, here's a breakdown of everything you need to know about the Escape from Tarkov Twitch Drops.

Escape from Tarkov Twitch Drops New Year's 2023: How to Get

The Escape from Tarkov New Year's Twitch Drops event is set to run from Dec. 29, 2022, at 8 a.m. ET to Jan. 8, 2023, at 8 a.m. ET.

As usual, this Twitch Drops promo gives players a chance to earn exclusive, in-game rewards for free by watching streamers play the game on Twitch.

During the campaign, you will be guaranteed to receive one in-game item at certain intervals: weapons, gear, various rare items, etc. You can watch one or more broadcasts, but viewing time will only count if these broadcasts are part of the event.

To be eligible for the Twitch Drops, you need to own a copy of Escape from Tarkov, and link your Twitch account to your game profile on the Escape from Tarkov website.

The schedule for the Escape from Tarkov New Year's Twitch Drops event will begin and end with "general days," in which Drops will be activated on all Twitch channels that broadcast in the Escape from Tarkov category. For the rest of the days, the Drops will be exclusively available on certain partnered Twitch channels via two 12-hour batches.
