Fans excited for the start of Warzone Season 5 will not have to wait much longer.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded dropped two weeks ago with a new overpowered shotgun and The Boys Operators, including a Black Noir skin that doubles as the next Roze skin. The update also brought Battle Royale to Vondel and a rotating playlist of Resurgence maps.

As players explore the new content, they want to know what is coming in the next season. Although Activision has yet to reveal many details surrounding Warzone Season 5, we do know when the update will likely go live.

When Does Warzone Season 5 Start?

Warzone Season 5 is expected to start on Wednesday, Aug. 9. The Season 4 Reloaded Battle Pass ends on that date, likely paving the way for the next update to drop on the same day. Activision has yet to confirm the date, though, so Warzone Season 5 could potentially be delayed until we receive a set start date.

Until Activision releases the Warzone Season 5 roadmap, we will not know the extent of the game modes, weapons, and Bundles coming in the next update. According to Dataminers, Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage Operators could make their debut in the Battle Royale in the upcoming months.

Activision also teased the reveal of the rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in Warzone Season 5. The event will not only confirm the title of Call of Duty 2023, but it will also unveil more information regarding the transfer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 weapons, Bundles, and Operators to MW3.
